Sunday Mornings
Child Care – Safe Sanctuary certified childcare is provided for the 9:30 Sunday School, the 10:45 traditional worship, and the 6:00 p.m. Sunday contemporary worship in our nursery. The nursery is located immediately inside the East Entrance door.
Casual Dress - St. Paul worshipers dress informally – shorts, jeans and “Sunday clothes” are all prevalent. Let your comfort direct your dress at St. Paul.
Worship Service – St. Paul has a traditional service, beginning at 10:45 a.m. each Sunday, and a contemporary service each Sunday at 6:00 p.m.. The Missouri State University Greenroom also has a contemporary worship service each Wednesday in our sanctuary. Everyone is welcome at all services.
Sunday School – We have Sunday School classes for children, youth and adults, with all classes beginning at 9:30.
Parking
You may park wherever you like. St. Paul has two parking areas: immediately east of the church on Walnut Street and directly across Walnut Street. Guest parking areas are reserved in the east parking lot. Handicap parking is also available in the east lot. A limited amount of on-street parking is available on both Jefferson and Walnut Streets for those who prefer on-street parking.
What Doors to Use
St. Paul has two entrances, one on the east side of the church just off the east parking lot and the Walnut Street entrance doors on the south side of the church. Greeters are stationed at each of the entrances to direct you to the sanctuary, nursery, rest rooms, Sunday School rooms, or our Welcome Area.
Your Welcome Gift
On your first or second visit, we would be blessed if you would accept a Welcome Gift Bag. It contains a few small momentos as a “thank you” for worshiping with us today. See our Welcome Area greeter to pick-up your gift. The Welcome Area is located in the east foyer just outside the sanctuary.
Find St. Paul
We are located at 413 East Walnut (corner of Walnut and Jefferson), downtown Springfield. For those familiar with downtown, we are across the street east from Mille’s Restaurant and diagonal from the downtown YMCA.
