Traditional Worship Sunday Morning: 10:45 a.m.
St. Paul has a traditional worship service each Sunday morning at 10:45 a.m. This service is traditional in its appearance and content. Holy Communion is celebrated during each of these worship services on the first Sunday of each month.
The traditional worship service features St. Paul’s 16-person chancel choir accompanied by a beautiful pipe organ. Frequently, we feature special music performed by a choir member.
Contemporary Worship Sunday Evening: 6:00 p.m.
Our contemporary worship happens at 6pm on Sunday evenings. It is anchored by St. Paul’s praise band and praise singers. Contemporary Christian music is featured along with short message pertinent and relevant for today.
The Green Room College Worship
St. Paul is host to The Green Room college ministry worship. College worship happens every Wednesday night at 8:30 PM at St Paul UMC in downtown Springfield (during fall and spring semesters). Worship features modern music, drama, and media. Hear messages that are relevant to your life and have a chance to share your thoughts on the topics. Opportunities for prayer, communion, and creative worship are available every week.
